Application of Electron Beam Technologies to Processing of Optical Surfaces

Abstract. The application of electron beam technology to optics is discussed here. The conditions of glass plates processing are studied also. The experimental results are analyzed and the slate of processed optical surfaces is examined. Electron-microscopical photographs of the examined surfaces are presented. A considerable improvement of the processed pieces is recorded.
