Abstract. For the application of Glauber theory to electron-complex atom and electron-molecule scattering, the system of core electrons in an atom is replaced by the appropriate central charge density. Cosequently, the (3z +2)-dimensional integral in the scattering of electrons by Z-electron atoms is reduced to one-dimensional integral. The Glauber model in this simplified form is applied to the elastic scattering of electrons by He atom. Total cross-sections for the elastic and inelastic e-Li scattering have also been calculated by the simplified Glauber Model. In the light of the above-mentioned approximations, the angular distribution of electrons distribution of electrons elastically scattered from H2 molecule at different energies have also been computed.
