Abstract. Quantum braneworld effective action technique together with many of its physical applications as a byproduct lead to special duality relations which connect different boundary value problems in the bulk manifold. The main purpose of this report is to explain the way duality relations arise in the braneworld context and to discuss its various features and applications.
