Analytical Approximate Eigenvalues of Bounded Quantum Systems

Abstract. A general systematic way of obtaining analytical approximate expressions for the eigenvalues of bounded quantum systems is proposed. The method is based on a nonlinear transformation of the perturbation parameter that leads to improved perturbation series. The bounded harmonic oscillator is discussed as an illustrative example.
