Heat Capacity of Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ Near the Transition Point

Abstract. Preliminary results of the heat capacity of Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ near Tc are announced. The value of the heat capacity jump estimated in the present paper is ΔC ∼ 8 J mo1-1 K-1. Temperature dependences of the AC-susceptibility and electrical resistivity of the same sample are presented as well.
