Skyrme-Type Effective Forces in Nuclei and Properties of Ion-Ion Interaction Potentials

Abstract. Extended local-scale transformation method with Skyrme-lype effective forces is applied for investigation of the nuclear part of the ion-ion interaction potentials between colliding nuclei 16O —16O, 16O —40Ca and 40Ca —40Ca. Different parts of the potential, associated wilh the particular structure of the Skyrme forces, are analysed. Their aclual dependence on some nuclear matter characteristics, such as the incom pressibility coefficient, the asymmetry energy and the isoscalar effective mass, is investigated.
