Some Electrical Parameters and Characteristics of Semiconductor Diamond and Diamond Electron Devices

Abstract. The exceptional combination of fundamental properties of diamond is discussed towards its present and future application in the semiconductor industry. Some electrical parameters and characteristics of diamond and diamond capacitors, diodes, transistors and sensors are calculated. All reported data are compared with the corresponding ones for silicon and other now used semiconductor materials.
